Inputs in Forms in Xhtml 1.1
Published 14 November 2007 by Paul.Recently I tried to get a webpage that had a very normal Form with Input tags in it to validate as Xhtml 1.1 (full on strict mode). Visual Studio wouldn't validate it at all saying "Element 'input' cannot be nested within element 'form'."
An annoying error in Firefox. Error 623

The Salmon River

Don't forget The Salmon River Festival is coming up on the 8th of September. It takes place in and around South Park in Pulaski.
Town Comp Planning Meeting
Published 23 August 2007 by Paul.I attended the Town meeting of the Comprehensive Planning Committee last night (Wednesday August 22, 2007).
It was fascinating and I was happy to find out that a lot of the issues that I whine to my wife about were mentioned.
The meeting was chaired by Kristy A. LaManche of the Central New York Regional Planning & Development Board.
I urge every town resident and business owner to attend these meetings. It is your homes and livelihoods that they are discussing.
I've typed out the agenda that was given to everyone. There wasn't time to cover all the points in the document and some points were amended or removed, but I've copied the whole document verbatim for the sake of posterity.
